About Us

The mission of Western North Carolina Woman is to celebrate the inherent strength, wisdom, and grace of women. Our print publication and the resources available on our website provide a hub through which women can be interconnected, interdependent, and interactive. Articles and columns focus on creative problem solving and the sharing of ideas, information, inspiration, and joy. Women can be isolated by barriers of time and space (commitments and geography). WNC Woman provides a means to transcend those barriers.

We envision that the collective wisdom of this gathering of women will enliven individual spirit and creative energy to support personal growth and expansion, and serve as a catalyst for positive change for the whole community.

WNC WOMAN is a print/Web publication of Infinite Circles, Inc., founded in 2002 by Sandi Tomlin-Sutker [email protected] and Julie Savage Parker [email protected].

In 2010, due to a number of personal circumstances, Julie Parker and I decided to separate our business relationship. I took over in October of 2010 and have been working since then to make a number of changes: expanding the content to include a monthly Common Sense Health column; a women’s music column; changed the logo and inside design; and am having the website completely revamped.

WNC Woman has been one of the most popular free publications in our region since it’s inception in 2002; and in 2010 it was voted #1 in the Mountain Xpress Best Of Poll! I’m delighted and grateful to have the opportunity to continue to improve the magazine and make it available to an ever growing readership.
