Junk, trash, waste, landfill fodder. No matter what you call it, it has a life of its own. As Urban Revitalization Strategist Majora Carter so profoundly put it, one man’s trash affects us all in some way. Whether it’s harming our groundwater, producing unhealthy landfill gases that influence climate change, or simply causing unforeseen and untold problems for our children’s children, we need to do everything we can to stop waste from heading to the dump.
