Here’s Hope 2017

A Very Special Event to support Hope Chest For Women on October 21st.

Here’s Hope is the largest annual fundraiser for The Hope Chest for Women, Inc. The non-profit 501 c (3) organization was founded by Dr. Nathan Williams, a local gynecological oncologist in 2003 to assist his patients who were experiencing financial challenges in their everyday living necessities such as rent, transportation, medication and medical treatment co-pays, groceries, utilities, etc.

All proceeds raised by The Hope Chest for Women, Inc. in its community fundraising endeavors are used to directly assist local WNC residents in 22 counties with financial difficulties due to their breast and/or other gynecological cancers. The Hope Chest for Women, Inc. can provide up to $1,750 per client over a three-year period. This amount is based upon the recipients’ needs & resources.

Here’s Hope celebrates survivors and honors the memory of loved ones who have lost their battles with the disease. Fall fashions will be modeled by cancer survivors who will wear clothing selections and accessories ranging from very casual to black-tie attire sponsored by the Asheville Outlets and Harley Davidson of Asheville.

Some of the recipients of our assistance program will provide personal testimonies of how the organization has impacted them personally.

This event will be held at the beautiful Asheville Event Centre on Saturday, Oct. 21st, 2017 located at 291 Sweeten Creek Road in Asheville, NC 28803. Doors will open at 10:30 am to mingle with friends and preview raffle and auction items. Festivities will begin promptly at 11 am.
A shuttle service will be available to eliminate parking issues during the event.

The Chef’s Kitchen of Ingles’ Markets with Chef Lisa will once again provide a gourmet buffet luncheon offering a variety of healthy and nutritious locally grown and raised food items along with decadent desserts. The Ingles’ floral design department is providing centerpieces for our dining tables.

Ron Lambe and Company will provide string and chamber music.
Raffle and silent auction items donated by local businesses, retailers, hoteliers, restaurateurs, crafters, and artisans will be available for purchase.

Once again Victoria Dunkle will be returning to emcee our event. Victoria, a professional journalist, is a familiar face in our community from her 12-year career with WLOS 13 as the morning & noon news anchor. She is currently the communications director at Park Ridge Hospital as well as a women’s ministry speaker, teacher, and blogger.

We promise a celebration of fun, inspiration, information, entertainment, delicious food, and the fellowship of awesome women.

Individual tickets are $50 and tables of eight are available for $400.

Sponsorships are available starting at $500.
