Cheryl Keefer, an award-winning painter from Black Mountain, NC, is a contemporary impressionist whose work is exhibited throughout the Southeast. She paints en plein air from the Appalachians to the lowlands, and beyond. When not painting outdoors Keefer creates large landscapes and cityscapes in her River Arts District Studio in Asheville. A lifelong artist, Keefer holds degrees in Art Education, Art History from The University of Alabama, Birmingham, and Graduate Painting from Virginia Commonwealth University.
