THIS MONTH’S COVER IMAGE:  OPEN SPACE  by Madalyn McLeod (mac-CLOUD) Like a lot of my artwork, this was a combination of traditional and digital media. I started with a graphite drawing, about 15x22 in. Then I digitally painted it in Photoshop. Madalyn is a freelance artist living in Greenville, NC. She has been drawing her whole life, and in 2013, she received a Bachelors degree in Illustration from East Carolina University.She specializes in book and editorial illustration, fine art, character design, and she dabbles in graphic design as well. She is inspired by nature, mythology, people, and stories both old and new.
