All the content from the July, 2014, Woman’s Best Friend(s) issue!

Cover Art This Month: “Two Dogs & A Friend” by Constance Vlahoulis. The artist first created, “Two Dogs Camping” of her own family’s Golden Retriever and another Golden Mix. “They adopted my husband Bill and me,” she explains. The camp scene is one “from her head” as she remembered sweet times by the campfire when the kids were young. The Friends of Transylvania County Animal Shelter saw her iconic image and commissioned her to have a cat added to the painting for their brand new lobby. Constance paints mixed media images like this in her Hendersonville studio and also at 375 Depot St. Fine Art Studio in Asheville’s River Arts District (RAD). Her work is available at RAD, Mountain Made Gallery in the Grove Arcade, k2 Studio in Asheville and online at: www.ConstanceFineArt.com
