I believe that every individual can experience a healthy state of wellness, and balanced nutrition, no matter how busy you are. I’m here to help you achieve just that. In a nutshell, my goal for you is to create a healthier, and more sustainable lifestyle. I am a Registered Nurse with over a decade of experience in many facets of healthcare, including direct patient care in hospital and home settings. After graduating from Barnes-Jewish College of Nursing through Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, I became a travel nurse for 12 years. After relocating to Asheville in May 2012, my husband, Chris, was able to fulfill his dream of opening his own Physical Therapy practice, PHYSIO Physical Therapy and Wellness. I saw this as the perfect opportunity to share my enthusiasm and knowledge of health and wellness! I have recently embarked on my personal journey to help people help themselves through health and coaching by opening an Authorized Independent Ideal Protein Center.

The program offered is a supervised weight loss method with personalized one-on-one weekly coaching support and education. Our protocol burns fat, while supporting muscle mass – why is that important? – Because if muscle is lost during dieting it inhibits your ability to burn calories post diet. As a result, dieters regain almost all of their lost weight within five years after dieting. Therefore, all of Ideal Protein’s food products contain an average of 15+ grams of protein to assist your muscle retention while you shed your excess pounds.

Additionally, this protocol empowers dieters with the knowledge to develop better eating habits and smarter lifestyle choices by providing an education on the relationship of carbohydrates to insulin production how weight gain occurs, and what to do to avoid it. Our dieters are not left with the “Now what?” question after their excess weight has been lost.

Here’s what you can expect:

• Personalized ongoing support
• Supported by comprehensive guidelines and tools
• Developed and endorsed by medical doctors
• Weekly personalized weight and measurement progress analysis
• Dedicated coaches provide weekly support sessions and ongoing education
• With this protocol, you will not only see results, but also be provided with valuable educational nutrition knowledge to help you sustain your results on a long-term basis

After losing your excess pounds, you’ll have learned how sugar consumption impacts the creation of body fat, what food combinations to avoid and how to avoid weight gain while still enjoying the foods you love.

As the owner of Asheville Ideal Weight Loss, I am incredibly passionate about educating my clients regarding this healthy, effective and efficient weight loss program. I will coach and consult changes of behavior and habits for maintaining results during all four phases of the protocol. My goal is to create nutritional awareness leading to the goal of a lifetime of health and vitality. I share the challenges of so many others out there trying to balance it all and still maintain a healthy lifestyle. It is not easy, to say the least, but it is achievable. I look forward to helping you live your healthiest life!
