Sandy (McCall of Food For Thought), I wanted to thank you for your article on gluten and sugar-free baking in the May WNC Woman. I have been dancing around the gluten-free option for a year now in a desperate attempt to find a reason behind a rash I’d been getting for several years that no one could diagnose. When I read your passage about dermatitis herpetiformis and gluten, something finally clicked and I am now pursuing that seriously. Thanks so much for contributing to the very important body of increasing knowledge on this subject.
